Petrol station right next to a direct road to Mostar. There were some police posted on the corner, but didn’t bother us

It waa very dificult for me te get out of Mostar even if i just wanted to be talent to Buna (7 km) it took me 2,5h Started with a thumb, then had a sing for Buna and then a sing that said 5km still nobody wanted to take me many people ignoring me, one of the shittiest experiences so far

Many people going north, waited one hour after the poll with a sign to dubrovnik and nobody stopped Then i changend plans and tried for Mostar before the poll, after 10 minutes I got picked up with 2 other hitchikers Many people ignore you though

Not the best spot. There is place for car to stop but it's after a curve so drivers don't have to much time to see you and they tend to be driving quite fast here. Nevertheless I got really lucky with quick ride to Mostar but I just have lucky day. It's unlikely to get so far away ride from here

Good spot for going towards Mostar. Bus bay right after bridge

It's not really near the exit of the city, but it's a good spot near the kebab, lots of space where cars can stop. We waited pretty long, compared to other spots in Bosnia. We got picked up and taken to Mostar. We went as a couple.

We standed with Mostar and Jablanica cardboard. Didn't have much luck, but the spot is very good. Good place to stop and a lot of cars.

Almost only locals. Not the ideal place to go to Mostar.

We were two couples train our luck towards Mostar. One got quite lucky and got direct ride in like 20 mins. Other one had terrible luck. So I wouldn't recommend.

We tried to leave Mostar on a Sunday afternoon but not many cars were going this direction at that time so it took quite a while. We first asked around the gas station and then held a sign near the main road.

cars go a bit fast. maybe a bit closer to city or some other intersection further away is better. got a ride going to mostar but got off before.

Police didn’t really like what we were trying to do and was talking about breaking the law. We talked a bit with him and how we already did it in the rest of Croatia and in the end he was fine. We stood after the toll booth, there is lots of space to pull over. Got a ride half the distance to Mostar.

Great spot, cars are coming slow from the roundabout and have space to pull over. A guy took us right to the front door of our accommodation in Mostar. xd

last sidewalk before intersection to highway. straight road, cars go slow after supermarket. road towards mostar so lot of cars go that way! got very lucky and got ride straight to sarajevo. even stopped for coffee on the way. one thing to note - the road is quite steep from neum, in the heat it was awful to walk up. maybe try your luck closer to centre if you dont want to sweat.
